Subnautica: Below Zero will have the same design that players became used to in the standard Subnautica game. The below zero adaptation follows the same principles of the standard Subnautica game that many have enjoyed, but with a classic ice-age twist, adding new biomes, areas ot explore, challenges to face, and equipment to be crafted to help the player combat the cold and the dangers they will inevitably go against under the ice.
